I am currently a Marie Skłodowska-Curie research fellow in Digital Culture at the University of Bergen (2018-2021). My research deals with gender, space and power on screen, in particular in cinema and immersive narratives such as through Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), gallery films and locative videos.

I am an avid rock climber and traveller. Originally from Belgium, I have lived in Ireland, Spain, New Zealand, and now live in Norway.

Research interests

I write about space and women walking in urban spaces. I am generally concerned with gender, 'race', class and relations of power and how these affect our habitation of different everyday spaces, including streets, transports, houses and work places.

In particular, I look at how gender, space and power interact on screen, across film and audiovisual digital productions.

These pictures are my own take on these issues.
